In production: Bruce's fifth book, Swashbucklers & Black Sheep: A Pictorial History of Marine Fighting Squadron 214 in World War II, is scheduled to be published by Zenith Press in Fall 2012.

Now underway: Bruce is working on the manuscript of the final book in the Rabaul trilogy, Ring of Fire: Operation Cartwheel and the Air War Over Rabaul, May 1943 - August 1945 (working title). This will be a lengthy book at 500-plus pages. A contract is anticipated soon.

In development: Triple Threat Productions is completing a PBS documentary called "Flying Blind," about the disastrous operational loss of VMF-422 in WWII. Tom Brokaw narrates, with Bruce appearing as one of the featured historians.
